Privacy notice

Privacy

What happens to information given during a phone enquiry, what this website does not collect, and which data-handling questions are not settled yet.

Draft pending professional review

This notice is drafting assistance, not legal advice. Professional review status: not started. Some of the questions below cannot be answered until the arrangements behind them are settled, and they are marked as open rather than filled in with plausible wording.

What this website collects

Nothing. There is no contact form, no callback request, no booking tool, no chat widget, no newsletter signup and no enquiry email address on this website. No account can be created and no personal information is requested by any page. The privacy contact below exists for data-handling requests only; it is not a way to start a job enquiry.

No analytics platform is connected, no advertising or tracking pixel is present, and no cookie is set by this site for measurement or marketing purposes. The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs, which is standard for any website and is outside the operator's configuration.

What a phone call involves

The only public channel is a phone call, so any personal information involved is what a caller chooses to say. In practice a concrete cutting enquiry needs:

That is the whole list. Information beyond what is needed to assess and route an enquiry is not sought, and no caller should be asked for financial details, identity documents or other sensitive information.

Who your details go to

The point of the call is to connect the job with a provider, so the details you give are passed to the provider the job is matched with. That is unavoidable: nobody can quote or carry out a cutting job without the address, the access and the scope.

It goes to one provider for a given job, not broadcast to a list, and it is not sold or passed to anyone else. Once the provider has the job, they hold that information as their own customer record and their own privacy practices apply to it — asking them about that is reasonable and they should be able to answer.

Nothing beyond what is needed to describe and locate the job is sought or passed on.

Things that are switched off

Current data-handling configuration
Feature Status What that means
Automated SMS follow-up Not in use No text message is sent automatically after a call. Enabling it would require a consent basis, sender identification, a working opt-out and a review against Australian electronic-messaging rules.
Call recording Not in use Calls are not recorded. If that ever changed, it would be disclosed here and at the start of a call.
Call tracking Not in use The number shown is not a tracking number routed through a third party.
Analytics Not in use No visitor measurement platform is connected to this website.
Marketing use of enquiry details Not in use An enquiry about a job is not treated as consent to later marketing. Those are different purposes.

Storage, retention and overseas handling

Not settled yet

Where enquiry information is stored, how long it is kept, and whether any part of it is handled outside Australia depend on systems that have not been confirmed. Those answers will be stated here once they are, rather than described in general terms now.

Access, correction and complaints

Australian privacy law gives individuals rights to access and correct personal information held about them, and to complain about its handling. The relevant framework is the Australian Privacy Principles, published by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Privacy questions and requests go to privacy@concretecutting-goldcoast.com.au. It is written out rather than linked because this website carries no email links — the address is for data-handling matters, and a job enquiry still needs a phone call on 0468 078 436.

A privacy request can also be made on 0468 078 436, which is the faster route if the email address does not reach anyone.

If a request is not resolved, a complaint can be made to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
